Vibra Healthcare/Ernest Health is seeking a Full Time Interface Analyst to join our team!

The Interface Analyst is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of electronic data interchange (EDI) interfaces between numerous systems that support patient care, medical faculty, clinical staff and departments, administrative staff and departments, and information services. Responsible for developing interfaces in an appropriate software development environment to design best practices to code HL7 and other interfaces between provider's electronic health records, vendors and statewide information exchanges. Also responsible for testing interfaces in a nonproduction environment for accuracy, completeness and security of transferred information. Performs a central role in the implementation process requiring the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical individuals, including leadership at other hospitals and physician practices, and translate their needs, ideas or suggestions into logical solutions to interconnect systems. Analyzes and resolves information system problems, use and apply standard principles, theories and concepts of computer coding and design. Position requires approximately 75% travel.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IS or related field required.

  • Minimum of two (2) years Med-Host Interface Analyst and clinical application experience required.

  • Demonstrated history in leadership, with emphasis on managing technical resources/projects required.

  • Current active, valid driver's license required.

  • Able to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

Additional Qualifications/Skills:
  • Experience with WellSky Interactant is preferred.

  • Five (5) years of hands-on experience in implementation of interfaces to inpatient and/ambulatory systems (HIS, LIS, RIS, EHRs, Pharmacy and Billing systems) preferred

  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience with Mirth Connect interface engine preferred.

  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of interfaces, specifically implementation in the healthcare industry

  • Demonstrates understanding of data exchange protocols, security measures and industry standards relative to health data exchange.

  • Working experience with the following HL7 interfaces/messages: ADT (admit/discharge/transfer), ORM (orders), ORU (observation result), and DFT (detailed financial transaction), PACS, Transcription; also an understanding of the principles of asynchronous information exchange interface.

  • Familiarity with hosting environments (clinical EHR systems & other business applications) including data structures and hardware environments, and ability to use this knowledge to map fields to published HL7 standards.

  • Experience with clinical terminology libraries (ICD, CPT, SnoMED, LOINC).

  • Experience in organizing and training facilities on applications related to the interface function (PACS, Radiology, Results Reporting, Wound Care, Point of care).

  • Experience in Point of care systems.

  • Experience in PACS and RIS system configuration.

  • Understanding of Web Services or SOAP, SQL, Postrgres scripting, Java, JavaScript, XSLT, XML programming languages.

  • Ability to resolve conflict, communicate effectively and work collaboratively across multiple organizations

  • Working knowledge of Inpatient Clinicals and Financials

  • Exemplifies Standards of Behavior.

  • Ability to project a professional image.

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.

  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions including experience with HL7 standards

As a Graphics Interface Specialist, you will be responsible for utilizing company graphics standards to define the Graphical User Interface of Siemens head end software capabilities for the control of Siemens Smart Infrastructure control, monitoring and alarming systems for various building technologies. Additionally, you will act as the primary interface between RAM and Global Operations Center (GOC) SPOC. Communicating with GOC SPOC to coordinate details of graphics for specific customers, and direct project teams to interact with SPOCs will be key. The primary focus of the role will be on Greenfield and Migration projects, but you will also have responsibility for projects where customer interaction is necessary to determine and finalize GUI requirements that are intermediate to complex. Responsibilities: * Acts as Single Point of Contact for customer projects within a geographical region regarding the requirements for the Graphical User Interface to be created for construction projects and/or service agreements. * Meets with customers to interpret specification requirements relevant to the graphical user interface of Siemens systems. * Defines the methods and standard practices utilized by Siemens to deliver the most impactful and cost-effective way to meet the customer expectations for the graphical user interface. * Implements GUI package characteristics that utilize Siemens GUI standards to the extent possible for every project. * Gains written or other formal approval on the graphical user interface characteristics from the end user, contractor, consulting engineer and/or commissioning agent as applicable for the customer's construction project, system migration project or service agreement. * Provides very detailed instructions regarding the characteristics and requirements of the graphical user interface to be created/built by remotely located graphics designers. * Creates and tracks schedules for completion of graphical user interface. * Performs progress checks and final inspection of graphical user interface graphics. * This responsibility requires expert level familiarity with building systems and hardware/software required control systems. * Determines whether the completed graphics packages meet the customer approved intent of the graphical user interfaces. * Utilizes remotely located graphics designers to make corrections and changes necessary to meet customer expectations. * Gains official customer signoff of delivered graphics package.
