SUPPORT, ANALYSIS, and RESEARCH

  • Responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation and support of interfaces including analysis of data, business owner interaction for discovery, testing, documentation of requirements, building and maintaining mapping tables.

  • Provide direct technical support for all requirements in the planning, coordination, programming and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to the interface server environment.

  • Plans and implements major software upgrades, ensuring change management procedures and methodologies are implemented and followed.

  • Provides 3rd level support and architectural design for the technical data interface infrastructure environment of the hospital.

  • Responsible for one or more of the following:

  • Epic Bridges

  • Iguana Interface platform

  • Capsule Technologies

  • Responsible for the technical scoping and planning with technical staff, application staff, and project management.

  • Proof of concept design and review.

  • Provides support to application analysts and participates in the development, validation and execution of comprehensive implementation and test plans.

  • Coordinates deployment into production.

  • Monitors, patches and maintains through the lifecycle process.

  • Secures and hardens infrastructure by applying best practice security methodologies.

  • Technology roadmap planning and testing for future interface platforms.

  • Requires impeccable attention to detail and thorough technical documentation maintenance.

  • Performs 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis.Creates detailed work-related specifications, system design documentation, procedures, process and data flows, and project and change management plans.

  • Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues.

  • Demonstrates proficient degree of analytical skills.

  • Supports multiple concurrent work efforts, educates and coaches other team members, and works with minimal supervision in support of team initiatives.

This position offers opportunities to grow as well as a teamwork oriented environment. This is an entry level position. The Assistant Systems Analyst is responsible for completing tasks including but not limited to: learning the client's GIS design systems and construction standards, data entry and analysis of electric distribution networks with our client(s), and understanding system issues and the appropriate following steps. Responsibilities * Completes field surveys of electrical distribution networks. * Data entry and analysis. * Production of construction drawings and supporting documentation. * Third-party coordination with telephone company representatives. * Travel to field work sites for data collection. * Interpretation of as-building documents for existing client(s). * Some travel required. Qualifications Required: * Associate's degree required. * 0 years of experience is required; we will accept entry level resumes for this position. * Experience using Microsoft Office Suite is required. * Must have ability to learn Work Management systems and SAP. * Must have ability to work in fast-paced and team/group environments. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. * Excellent organization skills required. * Ability to work/stand for long periods of time in various weather conditions required. * Valid US driver's license required. * Ability to travel locally/in New England required. Preferred: * Bachelor's degree preferred. * 2 years of experience in power distribution, telephone/communications, and/or utilities preferred. * Experience using GIS is preferred. * AutoCAD experience preferred. * Experience using Work Management systems is preferred.
