Under the general supervision of the Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs, this position is responsible for the overall development and implementation of all marketing, promotional and community engagement activities for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing works closely with the Marketing staff, Ticket Office, Development, Fan Experience, and external vendors to develop marketing, renewals, sales, digital media, and communications plans. This position will oversee the Marketing staff, participate as part of the Strategic Communications Group, and provide leadership with all external relations.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $73,900.00 - $78,000.00 (Annual Salary). The Full Salary Range for the salary grade this position is assigned to is $73,900.00 - $133,700.00 (Annual Salary).

Required:
Minimum 5 years experience in Marketing (preferred Athletics Marketing)
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Thorough knowledge of the campus and / or medical center, including its achievements, mission, vision, goals, objectives and infrastructure.
Thorough knowledge of the campus and / or medical center products and services.
Thorough analytical and written communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques.
Strong interpersonal communication and political acumen skills.
