Intensive In-Home Therapist

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke's Crittenton Children's Center in South Kansas City, MO is seeking an Intensive In-Home Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity provide individual and family therapy as well as case management services for children being discharged from the hospital, or to prevent a hospitalization. Monday

• Friday, 8 am

• 4:30 pm

The Work:

• Functions as the therapist for patients and families

• Conducts initial assessments, clinical interviews, and formulates a treatment plan within EPIC

• Will primarily work in the homes and schools of the child/family to connect them with identified service needs, will be a liaison with the school

• Provide individual and family therapy, by making referrals to psychiatrists if needed and secures support services in the community

• Explains diagnoses to parents and children and follows up with what course of treatment is needed for each diagnosis

• May provide some interventions and recommendations for schools in order for the child to function better at school academically and/or socially

• Will share on-call rotation with other therapists on the team

We are seeking Therapists with experience working with children. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the system and processes of mental health care. You will need to be familiar with community resources and how to access them for clients/families. We are looking for someone with great communication, organization, and written skills with a warm, caring attitude. To be successful in this role, you must be detail oriented, efficient, adaptable, and capable of multitasking. This position requires you to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.

Must have a Master's degree in a related field and be licensed in the state of MO.

Must have a clean driving record and applicable vehicle insurance.
