Job Description:

Domain Specialists at Citrix possess deep technical expertise in a technology domain and drive business for their domain. Domain Specialists are responsible for their product number and may identify and drive opportunities for customer accounts. They possess a solid understanding of one or more Citrix domains, competitive technologies and how to position our technology to "win". There are currently six domains at Citrix.

  • Security

  • Intelligent Traffic Management

  • Cloud & Next Gen Networking

  • SDWAN

The Domain Specialist is responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with a customer's business outcomes. They are also responsible for channel and partner training & enablement. Having wide-ranging field sales engineering experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Assist in developing business value propositions around Citrix products and solutions. Drives sales with technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability and a superior customer focus. Participates as part of a sales team to achieve or exceed revenue targets.

  • Providing Expert Technical Strategy with field Sales Engineers and Sales Representatives to assigned customers.

  • Strategic engagement with technical stakeholders and IT Management to further adoption of Citrix Technologies while partnering with field Sales Engineers who own those accounts.

  • Matching Customer's business challenges to Citrix platform solutions.

The role includes conference calls, site visits, presentations, technical evaluations, technical objection handling, and architectural design & follow up on all customer related issues. The Sr SE is a consultant who designs, develops and delivers technical solutions to business requirements.

More on the responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales assistance for sales opportunities to customers and partners including explaining:

  • Deliver consulting expertise to improve a customer's site or service.

  • The Citrix ITM (formerly Cedexis) technology stack,

  • HTTP video delivery architectures and optimization,

  • GSLB solution design

  • Refine and research technical requirements of the opportunity.

  • Troubleshooting customer configurations.

  • Define solution options and articulate the benefits of Citrix Network products.

  • Act as an interface between the Sales and Engineering organizations to resolve outstanding issues.

  • Provide reporting and feedback on customer accounts and field activities to Sales, Product Management and Engineering.

  • Work closely with customers in the design and implementation/integration of Citrix ITM products.

  • Understand the customer's business drivers and how to map these to a solution that Citrix can offer

  • Support existing customers in their technical requirements and services support

  • Up to 60% travel is expected.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

  • Min 5 years more years in a Solutions/Sales Engineering role.

  • Exceptional English language written and oral communication skills. This role requires an ability to understand and articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical advantages of Citrix Networking products and solutions.

  • A good understanding and experience in Internet technologies, Internet services and applications and protocols including DNS, HTTP, Web Architectures and Web design (HTML, CSS, JS etc).

  • Experience programming in JavaScript and SQL a plus.

  • Knowledge of CDN and HTTP video technologies a plus.

  • Cloud Computing or Application Data Controller (ADC) understanding a plus

  • Previous PaaS/SaaS experience

  • Ability to travel within assigned territory

  • The following certifications are beneficial but not required

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.

  • CCDP or similar vendor certification

  • Pre-sales consulting experience is required in any of these technology areas:

  • Application Delivery Controllers

  • Cloud Service Provider

  • Security (WAF, DDoS)

  • Must understand routing and switching; OSPF, GREExperience juggling multiple responsibilities and understanding of prioritization

Essential Functions: * Benefit payment authorizations. Manage behavioral health benefits by providing medical necessity determinations. Medical necessity determinations are completed by gathering the most current clinical information from the assessing/treating provider and applying the approved Kaiser Permanente medical necessity criteria to determine what can be authorized within the benefit provisions. Medical necessity criteria are used for all pre-authorization, concurrent review and post-service requests. Authorizations must be for the most clinically appropriate, least restrictive, most cost effective and within standards of care to safely treat the member. * Member contact. Member contact may occur for a variety of reasons which can include benefit explanations, resource identification and appointment scheduling. * Payment denials. Kaiser policies are followed for all benefit payment denials. UM coordinator is always available to explain a payment denial to providers and members. * Consultations. Consultations are provided to internal and external providers regarding medical necessity interpretation, benefits, covered services, contracted providers and available resources that meet the clinical needs of the Kaiser member. * Fraud and abuse. Responsibility for ensuring the appropriate expenditure of healthcare dollars in accordance with rules and regulations set forth in Kaiser policies, licensing and credentialing entities and all state and federal laws and regulations. * Ensuring continuity of care by facilitating communication between service providers regarding treatment planning, intervention, outcomes, and recommendations. * Care coordination. Ensuring upon discharge from higher levels of care that all members have an appropriate discharge plan within HEIDIS guidelines. * On-call rotation as assigned to cover pre-authorizations for non-business hours. Basic Qualifications: Experience * Minimum three (3) years of experience working directly or indirectly with individuals with mental health or chemical dependency conditions, which would include diagnosing, treating or managing. * Minimum two (2) years of experience in utilization management and discharge planning. Education * Master's degree in mental health, social work or closely related field from an accredited institution. License, Certification, Registration * N/A Additional Requirements: * Understanding of medical necessity criteria and its application. * Knowledge of DSM-IV diagnoses, community standards of treatment and treatment interventions for mental health, addictions and co-occurring disorders. * Familiarity with community resources. * Knowledge of how behavioral health benefits work. * Good clinical judgment in assessing the clinical needs of patients and matching those needs to the appropriate level of care. * Demonstrated ability to develop successful interpersonal relationships and earn the respect of physicians, nurses, therapists and other personnel. * Able to participate as a team member, but demonstrates high level of self-motivation and ability to work independently. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Excellent problem solving abilities, detail oriented, and very organized. * Use medical criteria for UM decision-making and education with patients, providers, and community providers. * Ability to effectively utilize computerized medical records. * Ability to use Microsoft Office software. * Ability to use analytical software. * Ability to collect, analyze, and report statistically meaningful quality and utilization data. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; presentation skills; analytical problem-solving skills; well developed project management skills; and competent quantitative skills.
