Intelligent Services Consultation Development and Delivery

  • Facilitate the development and delivery of Intelligent Services consultation reports (with support of EE/OE/RSS) in a timely and professional manner

  • Research (with support of EE/OE/RSS) facilities energy usage and provides interpretation of utility bills to clients

  • Monitors and analyzes energy consumption and costs (with support of EE/OERSS); develops recommendations for facility improvements, energy consumption, and conservation including performance against standards and benchmarks

  • Manages Intelligent Services contract hours with the goal of maintaining and improving contract margins

Engineering / Project Development

  • Leads the technical analysis of facilities and their usage to determine creative solutions and savings opportunities

  • Identifies, develops, estimates, and proposes Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs)

  • Ensure the efficient utilization of pre-purchased ECM customer directed hours working with the ECM COE

  • Leads concept development associated with various engineering projects

  • Conducts field survey work as needed to assess new opportunities and develop various projects

  • Coordinate technical solutions with external partners as needed

  • Leads a design team in project development, acquisition, and fulfillment of small to medium sized energy-based projects

Sales Support

  • Maintains position as the customer's most trusted advisor

  • Actively participates in strategic account planning and leader to leader meetings

  • Presents compelling technical business case presentations for comprehensive projects as required

  • Leads sales process when appropriate

  • Generates numerous leads for assigned accounts, especially Energy Services and Controls

  • Helps the sales team to quality and quickly close or abandon opportunities

  • Fully understands Midwest region's innovation and energy solutions and is able to present products and solutions depending on customer business

  • Helps to create written scopes of work and formal proposals for client as well as risk mitigation summaries for Midwest region Service and Contracting leadership

  • Support sales team in the acquisition of new Intelligent Services clients

  • Participate in high level walkthroughs and facility assessments

  • Provide qualification support on new IS accounts as required

  • Execute Tracer Pro "consultations" as required

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-Year College or technical school; four (4) to ten (10) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Four year electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Design degree, preferred

  • Certified Energy Manager, preferred

  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years; Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

You will be responsible for delivering an unparalleled support experience leveraging VMware solutions. You will work closely with our engineering, sales, and product marketing teams to ensure that VMware is delivering overall superior service and support to our customers. Responsibilities * Develop excellent working relationships with the key individuals within your customer's operational team * Work closely and collaboratively with resources across the VMware organization including Account Teams, Sales and Solution Engineers * Maintain high-level technical knowledge of core VMware solutions and future product direction * Act as the single point of contact for the management of key customer and/or partner relationships and work alongside internal teams to ensure overall customer satisfaction on behalf of Global Support Services. * Facilitate the on boarding process of new accounts and manage access for users to the Premier Support contracts * Conduct regular weekly or bi-weekly operational meetings with the customer for case reviews to identify issue trends and opportunities for corrective actions. Provide recurring status reporting for: support requests, status updates, known issue reviews and upcoming projects * Proactive customer notification of training opportunities, product alerts, new KB articles and bug updates. * Setup and manage the quarterly/annual operational reviews with the customer to discuss support trends and operating efficiencies * Manage the overall customer support experience including setting and managing customer expectations, driving prioritization and advocate on behalf of the customer for issue resolution within Global Support Services * Act as a first point of escalation for your customer, and collaborate with the Regional Escalation management team, Sales, Professional Services, Product Management to assign appropriate priority in driving complex escalations * Become intimately acquainted with the customers business requirements, technical needs, systems, environment and support history. Identify solutions, have oversight and direct support requests to the proper teams and make use case information available to GSS staff when necessary to assist in problem resolution * Work with VMware's engineering team to provide formal feedback for incidents, causes and resolutions * Assist the customer with support planning, upgrade and maintenance updates by providing recommendations and input on the customers implementation plan.
