Job Description:

The selected candidate

will be responsible for professionally editing analytical products that

support key US national security and foreign policy objectives on CT issues. This

position requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Requirements:

Relevant exposure to US foreign policy,

national security CT objectives, and the interagency coordination process

Professional writing, editing, and sourcing

skills

Proven track record of reviewing finished

intelligence and collaborating with analysts and managers

Critical thinking skills are required

Knowledge of national security

classification procedures is required

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple

tasks and to adjust as priorities change

Experience working with Adobe InDesign is

desired

Ability to work in a shift work environment

TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is

required

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts/Sciences

(or related field), 8+ years of relevant IC and/or CT experience and

demonstrated performance in similar positions. Experience will be considered in

lieu of a degree.

Project Summary NCC is looking for a multimedia editor to provide, transcription, captioning, and live event audio/visual recording services for government agencies and private sector clients. Required Clearance * Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Responsibilities * Edit and proofread transcripts for accuracy, formatting, and other customer requirements * Timecode and sync transcripts to video projects that may include: meetings, hearing, conferences, and feature films * Record high-quality audio and/or video projects using recording equipment, microphones, soundboards, cameras, and webcast software * Edit, split, and prepare audio for use by our transcription team * Research new software, equipment, and technology to streamline processes and increase the quality of deliverables * Interface with customers, colleagues, and division/executive leadership in a manner that reflects NCC's core values * Travel to and from customer sites around Washington D.C metro area, as needed Required Qualifications * At least one (1) year of professional, internship, or academic related experience * Strong sense of organization, attention to detail, time management, and personal accountability * Self-starting and self-motivating, with the ability to oversee projects and initiatives from conception to completion * Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule and competing deadlines * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications * Foreign language experience Education and Certifications * Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a similar field Core Values * Innovative, Adaptable and Always Learning * Put the Customer First * Work Together for the Greater Good * Go Beyond * Own It and Get It Done * Do the Right Thing * Have Fun NCC is an Equal Opportunity Employer (Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran) National Capitol Contracting Mclean VA
