There are multiple positions that need to be filled in different position descriptions (PDs). Below are the position introductions:

The primary purpose of the INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST is to perform specialized IMINT duties as a Distributed Ground Station (DGS) crew member and to train assigned military unit members in the duties and functions associated with IMINT Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED). Provides real-time IMINT TPED support to National Agencies, Joint Commands, Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs), Air Operations Centers (AOCs), and US and coalition airborne assets in exercises and contingency operations.

Ensures real-time and near-real-time IMINT reporting and analysis is timely and accurate.

Location: Beale AFB only

Compatible Military Assignments: 1N1XX, 1UXXX

OR

The primary purpose of the INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST is to perform specialized SIGINT duties as a Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) unit crewmember and to train assigned military unit members in the duties and functions associated with SIGINT Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED). Provides real-time electronic intelligence (ELINT) TPED support to National Agencies, Joint Commands, Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs), Air Operations Centers (AOCs), and US and coalition airborne assets in exercises and contingency operations.

Ensures real- and near-real-time ELINT/SIGINT reporting and analysis is timely and accurate.

Location: Beale and Mather AFB

The primary purpose of the INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST is to perform specialized analysis duties as a Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) crewmember and to train assigned military unit members in the duties and functions associated with multi-intelligence (multi-INT) Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED) activities. Provides real-time TPED support to National Agencies, Joint Commands, Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs), Air Operations Centers (AOCs), and US and coalition airborne assets in exercises and contingency operations.

Ensures real- and near-real-time multi-INT reporting and analysis by all exploitation sections.

Location: Beale and Mather AFB

Compatible Military Assignments: 14NX,1N000, 1N0X1,1N1X1, 1N2X1, 1N3X1, 1N471, 1N451,1N7X1, 1U100, 1U1X1

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard.

Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

Compatible military grade and assignment required. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.

Priority Areas(s) of Consideration:

AREA I= Current California National Guard technicians who are serving on a Permanent/Indefinite/Temporary dual status appointment.

AREA II= Current California National Guard members.

AREA III= Current military members of the Air Force/Army National Guard, Air Force/Army Reserve or Air Force/Army Active Duty. (Applicants who are currently in other Air/Army branches and NOT currently a member of the California National Guard (CNG) must become a member of a compatible unit of assignment within the Air Force CNG commensurate with the military grade listed in this announcement prior to federal assignment.)

(non-bargaining units may receive more than one area of consideration depending on the applicant pool)

Military Grades: E-4 through E-7

Recruitment/Relocation

Recruitment/Relocation Incentive MAY BE authorized, subject to National Guard Bureau approval.

PCS

Relocation Costs MAY BE authorized subject to provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation and an agency determination that a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move is in the Government's best interest.

Must maintain appropriate level of security clearance.

Must wear appropriate military uniform including required grooming standards.

Must maintain a compatible military unit, grade and job assignment as required by current directives.

Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.

Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance and be eligible for access to Special Compartmented Information (SCI).

Qualifications

General Experience: Experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports.

INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, GS-0132-11: Must have at least 36 months experience, education or training developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations.

Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports
