The Intelligence Instructor is responsible for the design, development, refinement, and execution of intelligence related training. The intelligence instructor is also responsible for intelligence in exercise scenarios to train and assess Navy Expeditionary Combat Command unit (s) intelligence personnel and their ability to understand the intelligence cycle in order to assess its combat mission in a Major Combat Operations environment. The Intelligence Instructor receives work direction from the Senior Military Analysts and the Project ManagerESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop new exercise related intelligence material supporting the global intelligence spectrum and the effects on NECC forces. Support areas such as Expeditionary Warfare (EXW), Irregular Warfare (IW), Construction (CON), and Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) tactics analysis.
Prepare and conduct intelligence instruction to NECC training audiences.
Organize/facilitate exercise intelligence message traffic and intelligence training material to support scenario development and classroom facilitation. Maintain a complete inventory of intelligence exercise related message traffic for scenario development and design.
Support the continued development and execution of the Expeditionary Information Warfare Training Team (EX-IWTT) course to include instruction as required.
Assist in the development of new exercise scenarios. Assist the Training Officer (N7) with exercise and assessment end-states in training audiences in operational staff planning and command and control Navy Mission Essential Tasks (NMET) capabilities/proficiencies during an integrated/advanced exercise.
Conduct unit(s) performance assessment and provide findings to the Training Officer (N7).
Execute exercises in multiple positions in the Exercise Control Group to include N2, exercise lead, and/or MSEL manager. Exercises may be NECC controlled or non-NECC controlled exercises -- Fleet, Joint and/or Coalition/Multi-National exercises; exercises may be live, virtual, constructive or a combination thereof.
Performs other tasks deemed necessary by the Project Manager.
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree preferred, HS diploma required.
EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate has previously served as an intelligence professional (Senior IS/N2/S2)
Ten (10) years of military experience in intelligence planning operations for the deployment and employment of ground combat, aviation, supporting arms, and/or combat service support units and related equipment
Three (3) years of experience in military training and education focused on senior enlisted personnel, junior officers and senior officers or equivalent.
