Program Overview:
Are you an experienced intelligence analyst looking for an exciting opportunity in the law enforcement and intelligence community? Do you have interagency experience with Federal, state, local, and international intelligence and law enforcement organizations? Logistics:

Location: Northern Virginia

Shift Work: Some positions may require shift work.
8-hour shifts span staggered timeframe between 0800-1800 or 0600-2200
10-hour shifts 4 days/week spanning 0500-1500, 1200-2200, or 2100-0700

Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to the following):

  • Quickly develop knowledge of the watchlisting program's overall structure, missions, functions, policies, and programs in order to identify the impact and effect of study findings and recommendations on the program

  • Develop knowledge of program goals and objectives, the sequence and timing of key program events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the worth of program accomplishments.

  • Develop knowledge of relationships with other programs and key administrative support functions within the program or partner agencies

  • Exhibit analytical ability to design and conduct comprehensive management and/or program studies where the boundaries are extremely broad and difficult to determine and to develop logical, clear, and well-documented recommendations and conclusions

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to tactfully and persuasively advise and guide executive management relative to a variety of issues which can be delicate in nature; includes making presentations and preparing complete, clear, and concise formal and informal reports, correspondence, briefings, charts, tables, and graphs that are distributed throughout the program and its partner agencies

  • Plan, organize, and direct team study work and negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations, where the proposals involve substantial program resources, and require extensive changes in established procedures

  • Work with senior government officials and executives to provide vision and enterprise strategic direction; participate in strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews to validate the enterprise approach and associated work products

  • Guide identification of systems, mission engineering, and business process inadequacies and deficiencies that affect the functional area's ability to support/meet organizational threats

Qualifications

Education: Advanced Degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience are required. Or a Bachelor's and nine (9) years of relevant experience. Or Associate's and eleven (11) years or relevant experience.

Clearance: TS/SSBI or TS/SCI with CI Poly

Knowledge-Base:

  • Extensive knowledge in one or more of the following disciplines: watchlisting, identity analysis, encounter, intelligence, law enforcement, United States military, and / or national security (counterterrorism, counterintelligence, transnational organized crime, and weapons of mass destruction) experience

  • Possesses expert knowledge and mastery in the application of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness and/or the improvement of complex management processes, systems, and procedures

  • Has mastery knowledge of applicable theories, principles, practices, approaches, and techniques of research, survey methodology, and analysis concepts

  • Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of the range of administrative laws, executive orders, directives, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the administration of a watchlisting program

This individual will provide tactical intelligence analysis and engage with DoD resources in theatre on a daily basis. This role requires strong analytic skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and confidence in a rewarding and challenging environment. This exciting position also offers the ability to collaborate closely with analytic counterparts and customers in the DC area. The selected candidate will be extended a unique opportunity to support an important mission with an exceptional customer, and make a tangible impact on national security. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Determine the credibility, value, significance, and relevancy of information from various data sources to create clear, concise, analytical products to meet customer requests in a timely manner. * Present findings to leadership and senior executives in attendance of internal/external meetings with the ability to explain complex information. * Confirm validity of information and review intelligence products comprising of information and/or data from numerous public and private data sources. * Analyze and assess intelligence against a wide scope of data sources. * Gather, interpret, and compare data to produce reports and establish conclusions. * Deliver analysis findings, and make recommendations based on research. * Develop concepts of operations for processing and analytical initiatives. * Development of functional requirements to support various processing and analytical initiatives. * Utilize technology and data exploitation techniques to provide both proactive and reactive support. SKILLS: * Experience researching, conducting all-source analysis, and producing tactical-level intelligence products. * Experience writing Quicklooks, Baseball Cards, and various other finished intelligence products. * Ability to conduct tactical-level research to develop innovative technical and/or analytic solutions to combine terrorist indicators with other data sources to support both terrorism and other National Security Branch initiatives. Background handling, analyzing, and fusing multi-INT sources such as: IMINT, SIGINT, and HUMINT. * Background in counterintelligence and counterterrorism is a plus. * Experience with target and lead development preferred. * Knowledge of the dynamics of military and regime leadership, national military strategy, terrorism, strategic doctrine, regional relations, internal and regional stability and security. * Practice applying analysis and evaluations to address information gaps and the aptitude to provide new approaches to pinpoint solutions to analytical shortfalls. * Working knowledge of MS Office suite, or experience with standard analytical search engines or public source databases is a plus.
