The Opportunity:

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our government every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. As an Intelligence Analyst, you use your technical experience and your attention to detail to develop reports, intelligence products, and analytical assessments to give your clients the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to protect our national security.

As an Intelligence Analyst on our team, you'll help your client understand their mission environment. You'll gain an understanding of various collection platforms as you explore new data sources, craft effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources including OSINT. You'll learn how to validate information and apply client tradecraft as you help create assessments for senior policymakers. You will become the authority on your topic so your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure.

This is a chance to define your expertise, develop new skills in intelligence gathering, and share your skills with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our clients, so you'll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in intelligence disciplines, including law enforcement support and analysis

• 2+ years of experience with researching data from multiple sources and analyzing findings for senior leadership

• Experience with using analytical tools and open-source databases to prepare, facilitate, and conduct briefings to a variety of audiences

• Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Ability to conduct research, communicate complex information effectively, and work with individuals at all organizational levels

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with creating and disseminating open-source research

• Experience with using i2 or Analysts Notebook

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
