SMX is looking for an Intellectual Property Analyst to join our team! The Intellectual Property Analyst will perform Intellectual Property and Data Rights Analysis activities.
Responsibilities include:
Researching assertions
Researching legal framework and requirements
Analyze CDRLs
Support the development of the life cycle sustainment plan for the Project Office
Required Skills and Experience:
Clearance required: Secret
HS Diploma and 3 years of experience working Intellectual Property analysis, with at least 1+ years of experience working with and conducting Data Rights assessments. OR;
BS plus 0 years of experience in a Logistics based discipline with an academic appreciate of Intellectual Property and Data Rights
Familiarity with laws and policies covering Data Rights, including the appropriate FARS and DFARS clauses, Army Directive 2018-26, 10 USC 2320, DODI 5230.24, and DODI 5010.44; and a willingness to expand on that knowledge.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working Intellectual Property and Data Rights assertions in a government acquisition office
Knowledge of US Army staffing process and procedures
