Duties

Summary

You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist in the ACINT Department (TAC-06) of FARRAGUT TECHNICAL ANALYSIS CENTER.

All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Responsibilities

Collects, analyzes, interprets, evaluates and integrates complex data from multiple sources in assessing the relevance and significance of developments in his/her assigned area(s).
Plans, implements and maintains data bases for intelligence assignments required to process all-source material and the production of technical or operational intelligence in his/her assigned area(s).
Maintains liaison with personnel in other intelligence agencies, laboratories, services, and allied foreign governments to discuss production requirements and provide information.
As required, serves as team leader for his/her assigned area(s).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as: 1) Serving as a senior Acoustic Intelligence (ACINT) Analyst responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting raw ACINT data; 2) Developing new and revise existing formal intelligence products and assessments relative to the capability of foreign countries to undertake certain naval operations, (to include briefings, automated and manual data bases, studies, estimates and analysis); and, 3) Interacting with senior intelligence community/industry/other analysts and/or experts; and coordinates information with foreign counterparts.
