Provides intelligence support for operational-level planning and strategic engagement policy throughout the mission area, to include analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, organizations, and targeted vulnerability. Monitors and analyzes strategic, technical, and operational aspects of military developments for the countries in the AOIs.

Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country. Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support senior leadership as well. Considered to be a recognized authority in this area of expertise.

Intelligence analysis may include; IMINT, SIGINT, ELINT, HUMINT, or MASINT. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. Support development and analysis of intelligence products.

Presents analysis or products to customers. May support policy and procedures development for agency, interagency, or community wide support.

Collaborate within the team to develop and implement research strategies and methodologies. Coordinate with internal and external partner organizations. Identify key tools and accesses required, and integrate technical research capabilities

Occasional domestic travel

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

Required: Minimum of three years performing tasks comparable to this description.

Desired: Foreign Language certifications (various).

This position can be located in McLean, VA or Baltimore, MD. Roles and Responsibilities: In this position, the successful candidate will be the primary interface/point of contact with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) supporting post submittal/pre-award proposal audits. Support will be primarily for Systems and Services segment proposals, but may include support for other rate segment proposals as well. This position is responsible for ensuring all audit requests for information are tracked, coordinated with proposal/program personnel, reviewed, and responded to within the provided deadline. In addition, the successful candidate will assist with and participate in other Pricing & Estimating compliance efforts including organizational training and support of Estimating system reviews, as required, and will provide support and leadership to other campuses across Mission Systems related to audit activity, as required. Occasional travel may be required. Basic Qualifications: The successful candidate for this position must possess the following qualifications for consideration: * Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of Business Management, Contracts, or Pricing & Estimating experience or a Master's degree and and 8 or more years of Business Management, Contracts, or Pricing & Estimating experience * Significant experience working with DCMA and DCAA on proposal audits or contractual matters * A working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), with specific attention to FAR Part 15 * The ability to multi-task and manage many competing priorities with aggressive deadlines * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Excellent organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge and experience with the DCAA Contract Audit Manual * Understanding of Business Systems rule and Estimating System requirements * Aptitude with Microsoft Excel and managing large data sets * An active Secret Clearance Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
