Could you imagine yourself in a place like this?About YouDow has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for an Integrity Management Program (IMP) Engineer in the Site Pipeline Maintenance (SPM) group located in Freeport, Texas.Area of responsibility for Site Pipeline Maintenance includes all four operating locations (Plant A, B, Oyster Creek, and Stratton Ridge) as well as the interconnecting pipeline corridors owned by Dow. The geographic area of responsibility is approximately 84 square miles. This role will have the opportunity to interface with multiple businesses across Texas Operations and will be critical in supporting the pipeline assets in accordance with GMISS and DOT compliance while helping to manage a budget of well over $20 million annually.The IMP Engineer will assist and drive key components of the Integrity Management Program (IMP). IMP is a government mandated program aimed at improving pipeline safety through accelerated inspection, testing, and repair of pipelines in hazardous liquid and gas service. Within this role, the engineer will have primary responsibilities for managing the technical aspects of inspection work to improve safety, reliability, and maintainability of our pipelines, as well as ensuring DOT and RRC/DNR Regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:* Performs engineering tasks during regulator pipeline assessments, such as ILI, ECD and Hydrostatic Testing analysis * Leads business stakeholder communications during pipeline assessment, especially those related to inspection results, reassessment intervals, and scope deviations (additional funding or schedule delays)* Be a leader in improving EH&S through all aspects of the organization * Work to discover and implement innovative technologies in the pipeline industry to drive new ways of doing work * Interprets codes, Dow Safety Standards and Most Effective Technology to repair or mitigate pipeline deficiencies and / or perform improvements * Identify required pipeline modifications and help build a multi-year improvement plan * Evaluate overall condition of the pipeline assets and recommend re-inspection intervals, re-inspection type, preventive & mitigative measures and fitness for service * Leads critical event reviews for IMP turnaround activities* RCI Facilitator - Leads and investigates incidents that meet the department and company triggers * Develops procedures and operating discipline for the IMP organization * Assist in establishing and maintaining budgets * Participates in Plant Assessment Teams * Prepares / Participates in DOT / PHMSA AuditsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to navigate and find remote work locations by utilizing GPS, maps and other technologiesRequired Qualifications:
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class ranking.* A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience * Must be willing and able to travel (* A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. Job Description As the Endpoint Management Engineer, you will meet the challenge of managing and supporting Motorola Solutions' endpoint management systems, having an impact on tens of thousands of Motorolans and their devices across a global enterprise. Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations * Administer the endpoint management platform, including agent deployment and reporting, software deployment, patch management, and endpoint compliance * Responsible for maintaining technical documentation of design, policies, and operational procedures * Coordinate with the Service Desk team on enterprise wide deployment actions and resolving endpoint management agent issues * Work with Enterprise Information Security team members to identify and remediate vulnerabilities * Ensure software packages and patches are deployed efficiently and as transparently as possible * Coordinate with appropriate resources to ensure that subsidiaries assets are in compliance with Motorola Solutions' security policies and standards Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills * Experience with enterprise level endpoint management tools within a large enterprise as a subject matter expert and hands on experience with tool deployment, configuration, customization, and endpoint management * Understanding of APIs and their capabilities * Software packaging and deployment methodologies * Experience with formal change management processes * Possess an innovative mindset to uncover new efficiencies * Solid understanding of endpoint security concepts and defense in depth * Experience integrating mergers and acquisitions * Industry Certifications Preferred Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing * Must have strong organizational skills * Must work well in a team environment This role can be remote anywhere in the US.
