The Integrity Engineer serves as a technical resource on fundamental engineering concepts, analyzing and interpreting integrity data from multiple sources and communicating with key stakeholders in field operations as well as company management.
Responsibilities may include:
Integrating and analyzing integrity data from multiple sources including in-line inspection data, repair records, corrosion data, etc.
Developing ILI remediation worklist and transmittals
Performing tool run correlations and generate unity plots
Running Pressure Cycle Fatigue Analysis
Calculating remaining pipeline strength using B31G, log-secant, etc.
Calculating pressure projections and implementing pressure derations
Providing feedback and participating in vendor KPI meetings
Interpreting policy, code and regulation (CFR Title 49 parts 192 & 195)
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through updates to standards, policies and procedures
Coordinating Integrity Review Team meetings and updating assessment planning documents
Serving as a technical resource and providing consulting on fundamental pipeline engineering concepts
Representing the company's integrity program during audits
Leading incident investigations and root cause failure analyses for integrity related failures
Training and mentoring other employees
10% - 25% travel
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
2 or more years of experience in the Midstream Oil & Gas Industry
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to travel 10% - 25% of the time
Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Civil Engineering degree
3 or more years of experience in pipeline integrity engineering
Professional Engineer license
Working knowledge of database structures
Strong computer skills including MS Access and SAP
Understanding and knowledge of pipeline operation and maintenance practices
Working knowledge of CFR Title 49 parts 195 & 192 and ASME B31.4
Working knowledge of the PODS data model
Ability to organize data and interpret results
Strong facilitation skills
Ability to influence diverse groups to achieve common goals
