Reports To: Director, Compliance Risk Monitoring & Analytics

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

Support the development of Indivior Integrity & Compliance (I&C) Program multi-year compliance data analytics strategy, this includes but is not limited to:

  • In collaboration with IT and other relevant functions (e.g., Internal Audit, Business Analytics), define and support the development of the Business Information Architecture

  • Develop risk-based use cases to guide the use of analytics in compliance risk management

  • Lead the phased acquisition of all data sources, within an aligned prioritization

  • Serve as primary developer and administrator for identified solutions

  • Leverage data to tell a story via the creation of compelling visualizations

  • Identify and engage with external experts in the development of data lake, data cleansing, and data mapping (e.g., data scientist)

Design and evolve I&C's management reporting tools, this includes but is not limited to:

  • Transition current dashboards from manual to automated generation

  • Develop tailored dashboards for different audiences/levels of management

  • Continually refine and integrate new/adjusted visualizations to best inform regarding status and results

Support I&C in the evaluation, strategic proposal, and implementation of a comprehensive, fit for purpose Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool solution

Collaborate across functions and within I&C to access relevant data and information for data analytics, management reporting, and as inputs to annual Risk Assessment and Management Planning (RAMP)

Provide technical support to the I&C Risk Management, Monitoring & Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) in relation to RAMP tool administration and development of data feeds, as well as recommending and leveraging industry standard tools for integration and evaluation of data to drive risk-based, analytics-informed audit and monitoring activities

  • Support the COE with effective data analytic tools to assess detailed transaction and record reviews

Assist with development, implementation and continuous improvement of processes and systems that drive compliant behavior and enable effective monitoring, including by performing system and data testing and performing any other tasks assigned to ensure accuracy and completeness.


Education: MMINIMUMBachelor's Degree, preferably in Information Management, Healthcare Information, Computer Science, Statistics or related field

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, including but not limited to SQL, Qlikview, Tableau, Cognos, Visual Basic

  • Data science degree and work experience is a plus

  • Candidates with experience in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries will be given strong preference

  • Proficiency in MS Office especially in EXCEL and ACCESS

  • Working knowledge of SAP, Veeva and Concur systems is a plus

  • Experience analyzing file structure, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products (trending and reports)

  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong work ethic and ability to produce high quality, accurate work under significant deadline pressures

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and cross functionally

  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with individuals in various functions

  • Ability to be proactive, exercise judgment and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

  • Ability to review and analyze financial transactions and/or arrangements that could raise potential compliance issues

  • Must maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn

  • Unquestionable ethics and integrity and ability to stand firm on these principles even under significant pressure

The Revenue Integrity Analyst Register Nurse (RN) WORK FROM HOME is responsible for determining the appropriateness of patient charges and Charge Description Master (CDM) assigned HCPCS/CPTs by reviewing the medical record, facility protocol, and other applicable documentation. The RI Analyst RN applies modifiers when appropriate based on this review and/or makes necessary adjustments to patient account charges and/or balances and analyzes accounts for specialized billing requirements that require a review of the medical record documentation, regulatory information, and HCA standards. You will review denial trends for documentation and charging opportunities. In this role you will: * Analyze and resolve specific billing edits that require an RN's clinical expertise and that are delaying claims from processing in the Patient Accounting and/or Relay Health systems. This includes the verification (and/or correction) of billing data for accuracy and completeness, by following regulatory requirements, and reviewing the medical record, facility protocol, and other applicable documentation. This also includes the application of modifiers and condition codes, as appropriate. * Identify charging, coding, or clinical documentation issues and work with appropriate leadership and ancillary departments to resolve issues. * Perform charge audits reviews by verifying billing data as compared to documentation and making corrections in Patient Accounting as needed. * Analyze charge review findings, provide recommendations to facility ancillary department directors in order to improve documentation, charging flow, and accuracy. * Serve as chargemaster liaison to facilitate clinical department education on appropriate charging of CPT codes, Revenue Codes, and communicating with Ancillary Departments to resolve issues. Coordinates updates (activate, inactivate, modification) with Ancillary Departments as necessary * Performs assigned charge reviews (governmental, corporate, insurance defense, patient requested, collections, denials, focused review, SPAEs, cosmetics, etc.) by researching documentation, analyzing information, entering all corrections as needed and communicating error trends to provide process improvement opportunities. * Review Regulatory and Compliance Communications, applicable CMS transmittals, and Local Coverage Decisions (LCD). Assess impact to Revenue Integrity procedures and implement changes as needed. Perform NCD LCD Coverage review when requested. * Participate in customer service events at the facility such as facility FECC Committee, new director onboarding, charge education and report charging issues as appropriate. EDUCATION * RN or other advanced nursing degree required EXPERIENCE Healthcare experience in an acute care hospital or coding experience preferred.
