As an Integrative Nurse Practitioner at our holistic healing center, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive and holistic healthcare services to our clients. This position combines advanced nursing practice with integrative medicine principles to promote healing and wellness. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' health status, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial aspects.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on integrative medicine principles, incorporating conventional and complementary therapies.
• Prescribe medications, supplements, and other therapeutic interventions as needed to promote healing and manage symptoms.
• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize health outcomes.

Patient Education and Counseling:

• Educate clients about integrative approaches to health and wellness, including nutrition, stress management, and mind-body practices.
• Provide counseling and support to clients and their families, empowering them to actively participate in their healing process.
• Offer guidance on lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies to promote overall well-being and prevent illness.

Collaborative Practice:

• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and holistic practitioners, to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases, share expertise, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to colleagues, sharing knowledge and promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and patient education materials.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice governing nursing and integrative medicine.

Professional Development:

• Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and developments in integrative medicine and nursing practice.
• Pursue ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and expand knowledge in integrative healthcare modalities.
• Engage in self-reflection and continuous quality improvement to provide the highest level of care to our clients.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) with certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) preferred.
• Additional certification or training in integrative medicine or holistic healthcare modalities is highly desirable.
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in an integrative or holistic healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills, with a holistic approach to patient care.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Primary care Nurse Practitioner experience
