The Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) Team within BGS DS&A Engineering is looking for an Integration Lead/Liaison to lead a cross functional team that performs systems engineering, software engineering, fleet analytics integration, and configuration management in Saint Louis, MO.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with people and for delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. The candidate will work collaboratively to identify opportunities to scale, integrate, and replicate Health Management and Analytics solutions across the portfolio, and will require a proactive approach to working with multiple, cross-team stakeholders to realize those opportunities. The team applies a collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and deploy GVHMS solutions to support BGS vertical businesses. The team defines system requirements, manages projects across supported programs, and integrates technical parameters.


  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, business partners, and stakeholders

  • Applies and develops advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to aid in integrating analytics capabilities across the analytic horizontal organization as it relates to the government capabilities

  • Develops information that extends across government Health Management and Analytics capabilities and may form the basis of newly developed concepts, theories, services and products

  • Acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of systems. Plans research and development programs, and recommends technological applications to accomplish long-range objectives requiring a long-term perspective

  • Designs research and develops new advanced applications resulting in new product/business opportunities for the company

  • Serves as a Deputy Liaison and consultant to management in long-range company planning for new or projected areas of Government Health Management and Analytics, including technological research and advancement. Primary spokesperson on the organizations technical capabilities and future directions

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and works closely with other Health Management and Analytics organizations

Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelors, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or technical related field

  • Experience leading teams or projects in an engineering discipline

  • Experience applying systems engineering principles to a complex technical environment

  • Experience integrating multiple systems or products to address customer needs or gaps

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE)

  • Creating or cultivating successful customer relationships

  • Experience in Agile Development

Required Education/Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
