Integration Developer

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

SUMMARY

This role will enable the company's use of data as a strategic asset of corporate goals and objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for strategically designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level BI solutions, data integration solutions, and analytical applications. This role is responsible for understanding and documenting data sources, integrating disparate systems, support the implementation of Data Governance goals using data governance platform. The Integration developer must drive the completion of projects within the established scope, while simultaneously plan for and manage the unknown future of BI requirements in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience as an Integration Developer working with ETL tools, scripting languages, and Power Platform applications: creating prototypes, dashboards, integration solutions, data governance rules and components and apps/workflows.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complies with, and stays abreast of, all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.

• Designs and develops data integration solutions that meet business requirements.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data integration needs.

• Analyzes and understands data sources and data models.

• Supports data warehouse data load process (ELT) using SSIS, Power Shell, and SQL Scripts.

• Develops and maintains the data warehouse reporting layer using the data modelling best practices.

• Creates data visualization, develops and supports bank wide reporting using SSRS, Excel, and Power BI.

• Provides integration solutions using REST and SOAP services, knowledge of publishing and consuming APIs using an integration platform.

• Develops front end UI and workflows using HTML and JavaScript, Microsoft Power Platform suite of tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Power Virtual Agents)

• Ensures data quality and integrity across all data integration processes, develop error handling and recovery procedures,

• Analyzes data using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL scripts, and Power Shell.

• Implements the Data Governance program plan goals using Data Governance platform.

• Provides Technical Stewardship assisting Data Stewards to define business terms, connect business terms to technical catalog items, and create Data Quality rules.

• Performs job scheduling using Windows Scheduler, SQL Server scheduler and Power Platform related schedulers.

• Works on a wide range of projects interfacing with development teams, business analysts, IT management and members of the business units with minimal supervision.

• Complies with, and stays abreast of, all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.

• Provide, present, and promote the Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) from four-year College or university in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or other related field; 3 - 5 years of experience using Data Integration architecture and tools, PowerShell, API management, SQL Server and Reporting Services SSRS, data warehouse, ETL and BI technologies, and advanced query and SQL skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

This position requires strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, as well as the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical literature, and government regulations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS

• 2 - 5 years' experience and knowledge of Data Modeling for Business Intelligence and Data Visualization.

• 3 years' experience in developing ETL solutions using SSIS and other SQL Server tools

• Proficient in data integration architecture and design, using APIs, and Power Platform.

• 2+ years of experience and knowledge of working with cloud-based IT infrastructure and platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure Power Platform (Power Bi, Power Automate (Flow), and Power Apps)

• 2+ years of experience in MS Excel, Pivot Tables, charts, graphs, dashboards, Power Pivot, Power view, and Power Map.

• 1+ year(s) of experience and knowledge of data governance principles and platform for data definition, data quality rule creation and monitoring.

• Knowledge of programming language such as Python, VB/C# .net, JavaScript, and PowerShell

• Experience in data integration through APIs, Programming languages, and integration platforms.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Understanding of best practices for common ETL design techniques such as change data capture, key generation, and optimization.

• Deep understanding of relational and dimensional database domains.

• Knowledge of master data management, metadata management, information lifecycle design, and development.

• Motivated self-started, detail and quality oriented and ability to handle multiple competing priorities.

• Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to get things done.

• Ability to present to various levels of the organization, including executive management.

• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range:$104,061.00 To 105,888.00 Annually

40 hours per week.
