The global Supply Chain Integration (SCI) team sits at the core of Wayfair's business. SCI facilitates the exchange of information with over 7,000 suppliers through millions of individual daily data feeds. We aspire to build real-time, automated, and accurate data connections across all suppliers to support mission critical business processes such as inventory, purchase orders, order tracking, and invoicing. The technical sophistication of our suppliers spans a wide spectrum, complicating the SCI mission. As Wayfair grows, we need to be ahead of the curve in defining, building and implementing future-proof integrations with our suppliers.

Role description: Integration Associate

Ideal candidates for this team will value collaboration, creative ideation, and using data to solve the complex challenges in supply chain management operations. We are looking for strong communicators who, when presented with a problem, demonstrate both systems thinking and on-the-ground tactical thinking. In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined below, candidates will work with internal teams and suppliers to uncover data trends, identify root causes, and develop and implement innovative solutions to SCI problems. Those under consideration will be passionate about leveraging technology to build faster, smarter, automated systems and improve operational efficiency and performance.

Primary responsibilities of the role

  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments, suppliers, and 3rd party trading partners to drive continuous improvement for the implementation and performance of EDI, API, and other integration technologies

  • Follow defined process flows for using technology to build trading connections for order-related data (Purchase Orders, Shipping Information, Inventory, etc.) in an efficient manner

  • Use a wide range of systems and tools to monitor overall performance, quality, speed, and health of data exchange connections to ensure that information is flowing accurately and seamlessly between Wayfair and our suppliers

  • Analyze data to perform root cause analyses and develop lasting solutions for complex problems, leveraging SQL, advanced excel, and other tools

  • Drive KPIs related to Supply Chain Integration and Supplier Operations

What You'll Do: * You will grow the Supply Chain Integration business by establishing a product vision, developing a strategy, and executing a roadmap for one of our key foundational pillars for Wayfair's growth * You will work closely with the Global Head of Supply Chain Integration GM and the extended Integration team to ensure alignment of business priorities to product strategy and execution * You will collaborate with senior leaders and executives across Wayfair to evangelize the product vision and strategy for Supply Chain Integrations, while aligning vision and unblocking progress where necessary * You will lead a fast-growing, cross-functional team of Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and Designers, build strong team culture and develop top talent for the Product Managers on your direct reporting line * You will help the business continually improve our overall department across a variety of topics and partner with other Wayfair departments to generate external speaking/content regarding: Recruiting, Learning & Development, team culture, and product development processes What You'll Need: * 6+ years Product Management experience (experience in EDI, API, XML, EDIFACT, Partner Integration, VANs, ERPs, etc a plus) and 2+ years of experience successfully leading and growing highly effective teams both in terms of impact and team culture * Passionate about building functional and engaging user experiences; strong web or app UI/UX experience * Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics * Excellent analytical abilities with demonstrated experience working with hypothesis-driven learning and turning data into actionable insights * Superb interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate a complex organization and generate buy-in for ideas and plans * Strong cross-functional leadership experience * Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and ability to adapt to ambiguity within a rapidly changing environment * Bachelor's degree in either a technology or business discipline preferred, MBA a plus About Us: Wayfair is one of the world's largest online destinations for the home.
