Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for the review of system requirements for testability.
Research and develop test procedures based on system concept of operations and requirements.
Perform testing of UNIX and Windows based systems.
Document test results and work with Systems Engineering, Software Engineering and Hardware Engineering to resolve problems.
Participate in customer presentations and reviews.
Duties may also include the development of automated test scripts as required to perform automated testing.


Required Skills/Experience:
Knowledge of or experience with Eclipse.
Knowledge of or experience with Web Services and Object Oriented design.
Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment to produce deliverable products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4-6+ years of experience in the following:
Automation tools (i.e. Eggplant, Cucumber).
Preferred programming languages (Java, Python, C
Developing scripts to support test efforts for the software build cycles.
Preparing test procedures and conduct test procedures execution.
Utilizing discrepancy report systems.
Working within Integrated Product Teams.
Must be a US Citizen and hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Skills:
Hands on user experience with Test Automation tools.
Experience using UNIX, Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Existing program knowledge in command and control subsystems.
Experience with satellite launch systems.
Familiarity with DOORS.

Required Education:
B.S./B.A. in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a science.

What You'll get to Do: Northrop Grumman Mission Systems' NEW MOON program is seeking a dynamic self-starter to join a team of software/systems integrators to continuously integrate software system baselines and prepare them for systems testing and deployment. The successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with other program organizations. This is a highly challenging opportunity requiring flexibility and commitment. Candidates will need to be broad in their skills, adaptable to a changing environment, and deliver tasks within budget and schedule. Candidates must have the ability to excel in a diverse government /multi-contractor environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Short and long term integration planning and execution of multiple concurrent baselines. This includes integrating subsystem functionality into system capabilities per design with an emphasis on system stability and performance. * Participating in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers/SETAs and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables. * Articulating product acceptance standards and streamlining integration in support of the overall enterprise vision. * Responding to various requests from program management for technical information and assisting in resolution of technical issues. * Developing test plans and procedures and conducting software systems test as may be required. * Some travel may be required. This position is a direct report to the Integration Lead. A current and active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position. * This position may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.
