Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with
    Business Customers, Department Heads,and Projectteams, provide leadership regardingapplication design, as well as support and develop subject matter knowledge forinternally developed applications.
  • Design, develop, testand deployourinterfacesolutions across the enterprise.
  • Participate in strategic design, construction and implementation of solutions in theEMRenvironment. This includes selecting, gathering specifications for, designing and implementing solutions for consumers throughout the enterprise.
  • Works to build technical knowledge by taking advantage of internal team mentoring and attending professional development opportunities.
  • Contributes to the development of goals and objectives related to the business.
  • Leads troubleshooting activities to resolution.
Position

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Expertise in HL7 messaging standards.
  • Experience with Network Connectivity/VPN.
  • SQL Data analysis skills required.
  • Clinical application workflow experience preferred.

JOB SUMMARY The Product Analyst II is a part of the Physician Services Group organization of HCA Healthcare. This technically-focused position with the Interface team is responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying our interface solutions across the enterprise. This goal will be achieved by working with cross-functional business teams and utilizing BizTalk, Cloverleaf, HL7 Standards, Microsoft SQL Server, and other tools. The Product Analyst II is responsible for interface creation, administrative tasks, and managing the lifecycle of interface development projects at PSG. The Product Analyst II will collaborate with Business Customers, Department Heads, and Project teams, provide leadership regarding application design, as well as support and develop subject matter knowledge for internally developed applications. The Product Analyst II will ensure the effective design, build, deployment, documentation and maintenance of interfaces within the environment. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree preferred QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in the following: * Technical oExpertise/experience in data acquisition, data cleansing and parsing required. oExpertise/experience in data analysis, modeling and visualization required. oMicrosoft SQL Server or other DBMS. oExperience in other ANSI SQL languages (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres) required. oExpertise/experience with Cloverleaf. oExpertise/experience with BizTalk. oExpertise in HL7 messaging standards. * Soft oStrong analytical and design skills. oExcellent written and verbal communication skills. oParticipate in strategic design, construction and implementation of solutions in the EMR environment. This includes selecting, gathering specifications for, designing and implementing solutions for consumers throughout the enterprise. oWorks to build technical knowledge by taking advantage of internal team mentoring and attending professional development opportunities. oContributes to the development of goals and objectives related to the business. oLead troubleshooting activities to resolution. oSelf-driven learner of technology and programming. oWorks independently with limited supervision and acts as a resources for colleagues with less experience.
