Responsibilities

The Systems Architecture Design and Integration Directorate (SADID) is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within IDS. SADID provides system level design through requirements definition for complex, large scale defense applications. To support this activity, SADID employees are responsible for modeling and simulation efforts, system effectiveness and operational analysis, radar systems design, signal processing algorithm development, tracking, and discrimination.

SADID's core capabilities encompass a wide range of the key systems engineering competencies required for successful technical development and program execution. Our capabilities cover the entire lifecycle, including business capture, proposal development, system requirements development and technical design, as well as system integration and test support.

Our general systems engineering expertise comprises architecting, requirements development, flow down and design, algorithm development, modeling and simulation, operations analysis and integration and test support. Areas of expertise are radar, sensor, battle management solutions, command and control, and cyber security.

The AN/TPY-2 program is looking for a Sub-Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, responsible for leading a team of system engineers and providing technical guidance, tasking, ownership of the team's schedule and performance. The Sub IPT Lead will be responsible for customer partnering and engineering management of one or more of the following areas:

  • System Requirements

  • System Performance Assessment

  • Operational Mission Plans

  • Technical Performance Measures

  • Interface support

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of Systems Engineering or related technical discipline

  • Knowledge of Systems and/or Software development life cycle and development processes, methodologies, and tools

  • Customer interface and interaction experience

  • Experience with interfacing with subcontractors, and holding them accountable to their SOW

  • EVMS certification, experience allocating budget and scope, and constructing a meaningful and executable IMS

  • Demonstrated consistency, accountability and flexibility managing multiple and competing priorities

  • Experience with MS Office Suite

  • Active DoD Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship status is required) or obtain within 1 year from start date.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Battle Management Command, Control. Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems, Radar Systems, or signal processing techniques

  • Experience with system level requirements development, documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture.

  • Experience with radar system concepts; detection, discrimination, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance

  • Experience with the development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performance

  • Experience and interest in Information Assurance/Cyber Engineering requirements, determination, development, and implementation

  • Experience working with Matlab, C/C++, Java, or DOORS

  • Knowledge of and ability to work within the Agile Scrum development practice

  • Previous military service

  • Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user needs

  • Strong analytic, technical and problem solving skills

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or greater

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related discipline.

The Senior Manager Systems Engineering position is for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Program Lead in support of the AN/TPY-2 Radar Capabilities IPT. The RCap IPT provides the expertise to drive the engineering efforts required to produce, integrate, maintain and support all AN/TPY-2 radar capabilities and achieve customer satisfaction. The KSA Program Lead will be responsible for leading technical integrated product leads and functional support teams in the complete execution of KSA program activities allocated to the RCap IPT including exportability requirements. The primary focus will be radar systems and software development and maintenance efforts. These efforts include responsibility for technical, schedule and cost performance. Specific responsibilities include: * Acting as the voice of the customer to assure customer satisfaction with respect to cost, schedule, product quality, delivery, and performance * Supporting the KSA Program Director and Program Managers to identify key personnel, developing long-term plans and maintaining the product line business model. * Executing capability development, conducting Program status meetings, tracking and communicating program metrics * Domestic and possible international travel will be required This position requires the ability to obtain an U.S. Security Clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
