POSITION SUMMARY

We're seeking a skilled Integrated Media Buyer. This role is responsible for the execution of media plans spanning all forms of digital, including video, audio, and display across a variety of clients. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years' experience, with ideally 3-4 years' experience, working in an agency environment.

Enough about us, let's get to the YOU:

  • You are an experienced media buyer with hands-on-keyboard experience executing campaigns in digital environments

  • You love to be behind the wheel of execution of an omnichannel media strategy, and you understand how media planning and strategy informs buying

  • You are familiar with the timelines, processes, and needs of the implementation of standard display, rich media, native, pre-roll video, connected TV, and streaming audio media

  • You have an eye for detail and finely tuned organization skills that work simultaneously to deliver accuracy in everything you do

  • You can communicate clearly, concisely, and frequently with media partners of all types and internal, cross-departmental teams (planning, creative, ad ops, etc)

  • You are comfortable with pulling data from an ad server or 1P sources and translating it into client facing reporting. You further demonstrate the ability to turn reporting into insights by providing feedback and recommendations on how best to spend advertising budgets, adjust tactics, channels or partners, and provide recommendations for optimizations to meet KPIs.

  • You stay informed on the latest in the digital space by consuming research and trends from various sources (advertising publications, vendor newsletters, etc)

  • You want the opportunity to mentor and train junior buyers and interns

  • You are an innately curious person who always asks "why," you want to push the envelope and innovate media executions, and you strive to work autonomously but enjoy being part of an energetic, experienced, and eclectic team

INTEGRATED MEDIA BUYER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To reach the goals above, you must be able to handle the following day-to-day duties:

  • Buying direct-IO based media, including but not limited to:

  • Video (Pre-Roll, CTV, Cross-Screen)

  • Audio (Streaming, Podcast)

  • Display (Banners, Rich Media/High Impact, Native)

  • Negotiating media buys, managing vendor IOs and communication

  • Completing campaign builds and revisions within a digital media buying platform (Prisma preferred) on time and with accuracy

  • Ensuring campaigns deliver against prescribed KPIs

  • Regularly meeting with vendors to explore new media opportunities and measurement approaches

  • Recommending media partners based on client/campaign objectives and KPIs and and maintaining an understanding of differentiators between vendors

  • Building reporting and delivering performance insights, optimizations and recommendations based on analytics

  • Ensuring campaigns are billed appropriately and on time, coordinating with vendors and accounting departments to troubleshoot issues
