Perspecta has an immediate need for an Integrated Master Scheduler in Herndon, VA.
The Master Scheduler is responsible for operating, managing and governing the integrated master schedule (IMS) to report on a combination of individual projects within the program. This includes developing, documenting and disseminating governance for work breakdown standards in compliance with the DHS system engineering life cycle, as well as processes for projecting and tracking SELC-mandated control gate and deliverable milestones.
The Master Scheduler is also responsible for the development of monthly reports and supporting IMS extracts to inform executives as well as Federal Agency stakeholders of variances, including projected resource over or under allocations. Produces resource reporting detail to include Agency-level projections for when cleared resources impact critical path and are required.
Reporting to the Program Analysis Manager, develops analysis of schedules, coordinates integrated master planning and all aspects of integrated master schedule update processes and procedures.
Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across functional groups.
Tracks plans and schedules; identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts as necessary.
Develops/manages the RBS, WBS and related dictionaries.
Prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances.
Performs weekly analysis and prepares reports to support the development of program plans that ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured.
Manages and facilitates monthly IMS reviews.
Conducts individual schedule reviews and analysis to ensures adherence to DEFEND E program governance standards as well as consistent SELC gate and deliverable reporting.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences or Information Technology.
8+ years of experience developing and coordinating an integrated master plan and integrated master schedule.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel (strong use - vlookups, pivot tables, etc.), and PowerPoint.
Experience using Microsoft Project Server, including the development and use of custom enterprise fields, views and reports.
Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM).
Possession of excellent critical thinking, data gathering, data analysis, report writing, presentations, analytics, quantitative time management, and consulting skills.
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be a non-dual, US citizen.
Able to obtain and maintain Agency Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD).
Active Secret or Top Secret clearance highly desired.
Public Trust clearance at a minimum.
