Job Description:

Serves as a top level technical or functional expert, often working on multiple projects and programs. 1. Performs Integrated Master Schedule development, maintenance and implementation on a global program.

Generation, development, and implementation of Microsoft Project scheduling processes and procedures for multiple disciplines. Management of scheduling expectations and development of templates for common efforts.2. Works with project team members in disparate locations to solve business problems with available technology and resources.3.

Reports project statuses, resource availability and schedule management to program managers. 4. Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes.5. May perform business development activities, including providing technical input to proposal efforts.6.

Provides guidance and training to less experienced staff.7. May serve as a project leader.8. May have supervisory responsibilities.9.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.10. Participates in special projects as required.

Education

Masters Degree in a related discipline.

Qualifications

  • 15-20 years of Project Management experience.

  • Expert level knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Project Management, specifically MS Project. Professional certification(s) in one or more specific applications or processes may be required, depending on job assignment.

    Advanced knowledge of company products, services, and solutions. Must possess a Secret Security Clearance and be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance Must be able to achieve Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent) within 90 days of hire for positions requiring elevated privileges and ITIL V3 Foundation within six months of hire. Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.

    The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to worldwide locations (or specific AOR). Create and manage all administrative and operational signature reduction activities. Basic Qualifications 7 -10 years experience in DoD Human Resources policies and procedures Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Adobe PDF, and PureEdge applications Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, developing and maintenance of SharePoint sites and pages.
