Job Description:

Responsible for developing innovative, multi-platform integrated marketing programs for advertisers created to drive revenue across the franchise. These programs should be designed to engage multiple consumer advertising categories. Additionally responsible for client-specific print, digital, and integrated proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral in assigned consumer-advertising categories. These categories have been identified as key for the franchise based on the following criteria: revenue, prominence, and potential for growth.


  • Day to day creation of proposals and presentations

  • Proactively create 360 degree multi-platform marketing programs to drive incremental revenue across the franchise

  • Ownership of lower tier and multiple categories

  • Excellent internal relationships

  • Bringing new media product opportunities to the wider team

  • To have good competitor intelligence and knowledge

  • Strong internal presentation skills

  • Proactive identifying of new opportunities and revenue streams


  • 5 years of sales development and marketing experience in a related industry

  • Knowledge of cross-platform advertising sales, marketing, event and related research

  • Proven ability to develop and implement creative, strategic, revenue-driving marketing initiatives

  • Project management

  • Proactive team player

  • Excellent public speaking and communication skills

  • Exemplary writing skills

  • Proven success in execution of marketing programs from conception to completion

  • Microsoft Office fluency

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

This person will be the lead for media strategy, media planning, campaign execution and optimizations.  Additionally, the role will have exposure to the development of integrated media campaigns, from brief to execution.  They will assist in communication strategy, creative development, integrated campaign planning and be responsible for offline and online media, with a heavy emphasis on digital channels.   Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for overseeing US media strategy, planning, campaign management (TV, Print, Search, Social, Digital, Content) * Management of budgeting/forecasting and coordinate with internal and external teams for campaign planning, execution, optimization and reporting * Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, and internal agency counterparts * Provide strategic and tactical guidance on media best practices as a media expert; Regularly inform both internal team members and external clients about opportunities, challenges and marketplace, technology developments * Align with integrated marketing teams within MetLife (PR, Social, Analytics, Metrics, etc) to coordinate campaigns and ensure tracking   Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: Required: * 3+ years planning across all media vehicles in an agency or client environment.  Experience with TV, Print and Digital Media (heavy emphasis on digital and programmatic). * Strong experience with ad serving, analytics, and attribution technologies and partners (Double Click, Google Analytics, Adobe, Etc.) * Highly analytical, with experience optimizing for lead generation performance * Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that is dedicated to marketing excellence * Ambition to learn new skills, gain marketing experience outside of media planning and grow as a marketer.   Preferred: * Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree * Experience with brief writing, communication planning, integrated campaign strategy and creative development and management * B2B and Direct Marketing experience   Travel Minimal   Business Category Global Brand & Marketing   Number of Openings 1   At MetLife, we’re leading the global transformation of an industry we’ve long defined.
