Integrated Logistics Operations Specialist

Our Seattle branch is looking for a new Integrated Logistics Operations Specialist to join our Integrated Logistics team.

Your Role

As our Integrated Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be coordinating and planning customer orders and shipments, managing customer inquiries regarding visibility and status of shipments, handling ad hoc requests, and performing general operational customer service. This position will be located at a customer facility while reporting into Kuehne + Nagel Management, also on-site at a customer facility. You will work in close cooperation and alignment with the applicable on-site customer roles as well as with Kuehne+Nagel roles both on site and in other Kuehne+Nagel locations, both in region and globally.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage customer site activities under direct supervision

• Execute Standard Operations Procedures and Work Instructions, maintaining service level agreements for our client

• Collaborate with on-site and off-site Kuehne + Nagel roles, and represent us in relevant meetings

• Resolve medium to high business issues involving parties like IT and regional/global LCCs

• Report escalations and potential issues timely for successful operational execution

• Identify and propose new business and service opportunities for our operational functions

• Participate and execute User Acceptance Testing related to all new client activity

• Participate in Quality audits and work towards increasing operational productivity

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelors' University degree in Business / Supply Chain

• 3+ years in logistics, particularly in Air, Sea, or Road

• Experience within the 4PL model is beneficial

• Operational Planning and Customer Service background

• Understanding of Transport Management Systems

• Proficient in MS Suite

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
