Summary:

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Integrated Construction Coordinator II with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and customer focus. The Integrated Construction Coordinator will implement and coordinate Virtual Design and Construction processes throughout design and construction phases of a project.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and coordinate VDC processes through appropriate technology platforms

  • May include, but is not limited, to Mortenson BIM/VDC uses: existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, phase planning (4D), site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, 3D coordination, site utilization planning, construction system design, digital fabrication, 3D control planning, and record modeling.

  • Provide point of contact for construction team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction

  • Document work process as it relates to enhancing and/or changing current company process standards

Other duties as assigned

  • All integrated construction team members are expected to be active participants in Mortenson's Integrated Delivery Advancement Team community of practice Knowledge sharing

  • Daily work planning

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field

  • Minimum of three years related experience required

  • Lazer scanning experience preferred

  • High level of competency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D, Trimble SketchUp, and Bluebeam Revu

  • Proficiency with Autodesk BIM 360 Field and Glue, 3DS Max, Civil 3D, Point Layout, Faro Scene, Google Earth Pro, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

  • Minimum one year of construction field experience

  • Current driver's license

The data center engineering team thinks from chip to chiller (or electrical substation), determining configurations and ensuring maximum efficiency of our compute infrastructure.
