Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Integrated Construction Coordinator II with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and customer focus. The Integrated Construction Coordinator will implement and coordinate Virtual Design and Construction processes throughout design and construction phases of a project.


Plan, implement, and coordinate VDC processes through appropriate technology platforms

  • May include, but is not limited, to Mortenson BIM/VDC uses: existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, phase planning (4D), site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, 3D coordination, site utilization planning, construction system design, digital fabrication, 3D control planning, and record modeling.

  • Provide point of contact for construction team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction

  • Document work process as it relates to enhancing and/or changing current company process standards

Other duties as assigned

  • All integrated construction team members are expected to be active participants in Mortenson's Integrated Delivery Advancement Team community of practice Knowledge sharing

  • Daily work planning


  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field

  • Minimum of three years related experience required

  • Lazer scanning experience preferred

  • High level of competency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D, Trimble SketchUp, and Bluebeam Revu

  • Proficiency with Autodesk BIM 360 Field and Glue, 3DS Max, Civil 3D, Point Layout, Faro Scene, Google Earth Pro, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

  • Minimum one year of construction field experience

  • Current driver's license

The data center engineering team thinks from chip to chiller (or electrical substation), determining configurations and ensuring maximum efficiency of our compute infrastructure. RESPONSIBILITIES * Support Facebook Construction Project Manager who manages the construction of a multi-phased data center projects Assist Facebook Construction Manager on contractor, designer and vendor management Provide cost saving solutions and negotiate contractor change orders Assist with developing capital project budgets and provide ROM construction cost estimates Support Facebook Construction Project Manager on-site inspection process Work with Procurement Department on equipment procurement and delivery process Provide weekly project status report (financial, schedule, Q/C) Assist Construction Project Manager in managing tenant improvement or retrofit work in a live data center environment Manage warranty work program for existing data center buildings Provide construction consulting services to local Ops team and other cross-functional departments 10% travel to headquarters (Menlo Park, CA) Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent degree 3+ years of experience in construction and project planning Data center development and construction experience Experience with ground-up construction and greenfield site development requirements Knowledge of construction management, capital budget management, electrical and mechanical systems Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards including fire protection regulations Negotiation experience and providing solutions to problems Experience with P6, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * eBuilder software experience BIM 360 Facebook Eagle Mountain UT
