SCHEDULE: 0.01FTE PRN As Needed

Position Summary:

Under general supervision, provides intake and referral services to the Behavioral Health Department programs, including but not limited to phone, face-to-face and emergency assessments and insurance/payment verification and authorization.

Qualifications

Education/Licensure:

Master's degree in Behavioral Health Related Field or current California RN license required.

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required.

State of California License in: Marriage and Family Counseling, (LMFT), Social work (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPCC) or Clinical Psychology (Ph.D, Psy.D.).

Experience:

Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a behavioral health field.

Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care management system.

Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Must effectively read, write and verbally communicate in the English language.

SCHEDULE: 0.001 FTE (PRN - Per Diem) SHIFT: As Needed POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Employee Health Manager assists in the application of the nursing process to direct care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Assists with conducting screening programs as required by hospital policy for post-offer, annual surveillance and identified exposures. Under general supervision, assists with coordinating the new hire process and all applicable paperwork in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Processes and coordinates workers compensation claims for the Hospital. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum: Medical Assistant Certification or LVN or RN license; Current BLS EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum: 3 years related experience working in a clinical and/or nursing setting Preferred: Experience in occupational health, workers compensation management or hospital employment. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum: High School Diploma Preferred: Bachelor's Degree KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, critical thinking ability.
