Intake Worker/Coordinator

FULL TIME

The Intake Worker/Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responding effectively to requests for information on a wide range of human services needs, direct contact with potential clients, consumers, residents, referral sources, physicians, clinical treatment team members and case managers, making an accurate assessment of inquirers' problems and needs, identifying resources to meet their needs, and making the appropriate referrals.

Qualifications

Experience Required: Must possess a minimum of two years' experience in the behavioral healthcare field.

Knowledge of the State of Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Act is preferred. Must have the ability to effectively work with consumers of any age population and demonstrate an understanding of normal growth and development and developmental stages. Skills Required: data entry, Crisis Intervention, Insurance Management

Education required: Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalency, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
