The Publishing Services Department is looking for an energetic and meticulous project coordinator to support the growing demand for project requests and ensure timely assignments to project managers. Publishing Services is a service department that provides design, editing, and other media production services for the Church. Project have included visitor centers, mobile applications, websites such as LDS.org, and curriculum materials, along with a variety of internal communication materials.
The project intake coordinator will work under the direction of the manager of project management to:
Review all new project requests for completeness of information.
Coordinate with supervisors and 35+ project managers to make assignments according to bandwidth and experience.
Ensure assignments are made within a reasonable timeframe (usually one business day).
Follow-up with project managers to ensure assignments are moving forward.
Coordinate the planning and execution of minor and small request projects
Provide regular review and reporting of team statistics to management.
Bachelors degree in Business, Communication, or related field.
4-6 years of professional experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Customer service oriented
Previous experience working in a project based environment is preferred.
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
