Summary of role
Making outbound calls to commercial prospects from a database and securing insurance appointments.
Develop sources of data to be used for prospecting.
Distributing marketing literature to the prospect database.
Key Skills and Experience Required
At least 1-years experience in a telemarketing or telesales environment, not necessarily in the insurance industry.
A general working knowledge of insurance products, although product training will be provided
Extremely self-motivated team player
Have excellent communication skills within a telephony environment
Work to targets in a fast paced environment
Build strong customer relationships
Competent on Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook programs
Good level of numeracy and spelling
Recent graduates, school or college leavers would be considered
Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out all telemarketing duties detailed in the summary above, in accordance with agreed procedures laid down for the department and/or instructions from your supervisor/manager.

Adhere to your responsibilities laid down by insurance regulators and communicated to you by the Company.
