primary functions:

Provide administrative support for Insurance Services department and customer service assistance for Insured Members. Maintain strong member relationships through onboarding of new clients and assisting with all service-related issues.

responsibilities:

  • Exhibit knowledge of all property and casualty insurance products and processes. Maintain or have the ability to acquire required insurance licenses.

  • Exhibit a thorough knowledge of the credit union's products and services.

  • Provide all administrative support for the Insurance Services Department.

  • Prepare and distribute all new client packets and documents. Ensure executed documents have been received and placed in our AMS, and uploaded to carrier websites, when required.

  • As needed, make appropriate recommendations for credit union products and services to meet member needs.

  • Responsible for assisting members with premium payments and personal data updates.

  • Prepare insurance quotes as needed to support Insurance Services Producers.

  • Always deliver superior member service that is consistent with credit union philosophy and commitment to provide members with value and total peace of mind regarding insurance products.

  • Develop long-term relationships with members and assist policyholders with claims process in the event of a loss.

  • Manage time effectively to meet/exceed established administrative requirements. Prepare activity reports weekly/monthly.

  • Assure the highest standards for member satisfaction through the timely resolution of member service issues, complaints, and problems.

  • Contribute to efficient credit union operations by performing other related duties as assigned.

  • Comply with all Federal regulations, Credit Union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act.

  • Perform job duties in accordance with the Credit Union's values, mission, and vision.

  • Perform other various duties as assigned.

minimum requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • 2 years of work experience in financial services industry preferred.

  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance license, or ability to acquire insurance licenses within six (6) months.

  • Must be able to attain additional insurance licenses required in all 50 states for selling and/or servicing our products.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and sales skills.

  • Self-starter with a demonstrable record in establishing new business and in achieving annual goals.

  • Present a positive and professional image through courteous and effective verbal and written communications.

  • Strong PC skills including Word and Excel applications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
