Insurance Property and Casualty Senior Account Manager
The successful candidate will possess a high degree of property/casualty product knowledge and technical expertise. The account manager role requires the ability to exercise judgment and act independently to provide service to a book of business, prioritize and respond quickly while working in a fast paced environment. The selected individual will serve large, complex accounts and/or a significant volume of account activity. Additionally, the account manager will act as producer and servicer on assigned house accounts while providing assistance in the production of new and renewal business.
Responsibilities in this role are:
Representing Huntington Insurance as a product expert by staying current with industry changes, trends and opportunities.
Taking ownership to provide problem resolution and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
Obtain necessary data from clients and carriers throughout the marketing process.
Negotiate coverage pricing and conditions to meet client needs.
Prepare client proposal and summary documents and deliver and review with clients as needed.
Identify account rounding and cross sell opportunities.
Coordinating and communicating client service and coverage needs
Utilizing agency technology and software applications including agency management systems, document management systems and workflows.
Adhering to agency service standards and timelines.
Acting as a resource for continuous improvement initiatives.
Proven track record of successful customer service experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced insurance designation
