Description

The Compliance Analyst I position is a professional compliance role responsible for supporting the Compliance Program by collaborating and supporting the oversight of high risk areas to ensure the compliance program is effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, and correcting non-compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Support various quality assurance processes throughout all operational processes and Stop-loss policy creation.

  • Perform routine compliance tasks related to documentation development, monitoring and tracking and reporting. Help develop tools and mechanisms - including calendars, trackers, etc. - to ensure that Granular teams are aware of their compliance obligations.

  • Assist in the monitoring of compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as other compliance and regulatory obligations, and disseminate information to management and other departments.

  • Work cross-functionally in support of complex operational and regulatory compliance deliverables.

  • Complete ad-hoc compliance projects as assigned by Compliance Team Manager or Granular Head of Operations, Strategy and Compliance.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the stop-loss insurance industry and regulatory landscape.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required.

  • Must have a desire and ability to work in an extremely fast-paced start-up environment.

  • Must possess strong writing, research, project management, collaboration, and execution skills.

  • Strong team player; able to work effectively within a team and more broadly with people from a variety of backgrounds and areas across a matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in health insurance, reinsurance, financial services, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Relevant compliance certifications are preferred, but not required (e.g., CCEP, CRCM, Etc).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $90,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
