  • Identify, resolve and perform root-cause analysis of daily operational exceptions and issues.

  • Review and respond timely to loan level email inquiries and complete any necessary insurance maintenance on the servicing system.

  • Respond to incoming email inquiries from internal and external sources in a high volume environment.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve customer and client issues and/or exceptions related to processing errors.

  • Perform vendor oversight through regular testing of operational functions performed by and/or supported by the vendors.

  • Report any operational findings to management, outlining areas of fail, risk and recommendations for potential process improvements.

  • Identify trending issues and provide suggested process improvements and changes.

  • Other duties as assigned


  • College degree preferred

  • 1 - 2 years' mortgage servicing experience preferred

  • Ability to quickly develop proficiency with reporting tools and all applicable software systems/programs used in the department.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

  • Ability to fully carry out all assignments and job duties with minimal direction from management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills

Job Description and Responsibilities: The Internal Insurance Specialist (IIS) will provide support to Insurance Specialists as well as Financial Advisors on utilizing insurance as a tool to meet client needs around wealth transfer, estate planning, and wealth protection. The position is responsible for: * Executing proactive call campaigns to identify insurance opportunities within the assigned territory. * Manage an active pre sale pipeline using salesforce. * Provide proactive and reactive advice and guidance to Financial Advisors around goals based wealth management as it relates to client wealth transfer goals, income and family protection and wealth structuring using insurance solutions. * Coordinating, planning and presenting educational webinars for financial advisors in addition to other marketing campaigns * Identify insurance solutions for FA's and their clients using Merrill Lynch produced Impact Opportunity reports. * Interpreting and delivering in force ledgers and illustrations regarding life insurance solutions to FA's and clients. * Maintain an effective relationship with internal and external partners in order to drive new sales, develop deeper relationships and deliver Goals based wealth management insurance solutions for ML clients * Working with third party carriers to deliver insurance solutions to FA's and manage cases in underwriting in partnership with a dedicated case manager * Maintaining an entrepreneurial attitude in the daily territory management and partnership with FA's Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred or equivalent life insurance experience * FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 Required (Candidates without must obtain within compliance deadline) * Life, Health and Variable Life Insurance licensing (Candidates without must obtain within compliance deadline) * Experience in working with High Net Worth Retail and/or Brokerage Producers a plus * Excellent relationship building, written and verbal communication skills * Ability to multi‐task and work in a fast paced team environment * Self‐Driven and independent worker with a sense of urgency and drive towards results * Travel less than 10% Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Bank Of America Corporation Pennington NJ
