Insurance Manager

We are a regional insurance agency with multiple offices in the Pacific Northwest. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to make buying insurance simple for the consumer while using technology and our carrier partnerships to provide the best options for the consumer.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to join our team. The Insurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing insurance operations, managing a team of insurance agents, and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of insurance services to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of insurance policies and regulations.

Duties:

• Manage a team of insurance agents, providing guidance, training, and support

• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve business objectives

• Analyze market trends and competition to identify new business opportunities

• Oversee the underwriting process to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve customer experience

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of insurance agents, providing feedback and implementing performance improvement plans as necessary

• Handle complex customer inquiries or complaints, resolving issues in a timely manner

• Stay updated on industry developments, changes in regulations, and emerging trends

Qualifications:

• P&C Insurance License (required)

• Health & Life Insurance License (preferred)

• Proven experience in insurance sales and management related roles

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proficient in insurance sales techniques and outside sales strategies

• Bilingual proficiency is a plus

• Oregon insurance license required before start date

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
