The Insurance Manager is a key member of the Safety & Risk Management team reporting directly to the VP, Safety & Risk Management. This position is responsible for managing the administration of all insurance and risk financing programs for Cambria Enterprises and its' subsidiaries. This role will deliver general risk, insurance contracting and compliance support to subsidiaries and business operations in the U.S. and foreign locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with VP to develop risk strategy for the placement of the insurance programs in the areas of General Liability, Excess/Umbrella, Property/Inland Marine, Auto, Worker's Compensation, Fiduciary, Crime, Marine Cargo, Cyber, Aviation and specialty placements, as needed
Work with operations & safety teams, brokers, carriers and other service providers to design and implement policies and programs that appropriately control, mitigate, reduce and transfer risks
Coordinate with insurance brokerage team to complete annual insurance renewal and drive practices that produce the best coverage and pricing
Oversee claims management for all business entities and lines of insurance. Supporting Cambria in claim avoidance strategies and claim processing/closure. Continuously communicating with outside counsel and other leaders on claims development to guarantee proper valuation and reserves
Periodic reporting to management on status, improvements and suitability of Company's insurance program
Maintain all insurance policies and endorsements and obtain specialty coverage quotes as required
Prepare and conduct risk management training as needed for operations and support functions
Aide safety teams in development of appropriate risk mitigation plans for project/subcontractor specific risks
Oversee and manage insurance program audits
Develop costing models for billing rates and allocations
Contract and Compliance review of contracts, insurance certificates and other insurance inquiries
Evaluate risk management tools and technology, make recommendations to leadership that enhance the business
Coordinate with safety resources to drive a culture of safety within the businesses
6-10 years as an Insurance Manager with proven experience assessing risk, mitigating risk, contract review, insurance placement and management, and claims management
Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
Understanding of property, liability, auto, workers compensation, and bond coverage and/or programs
Must be able to work independently, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, have attention to detail, motivate others, drive purposeful change, and build effective relationships
Strong written, verbal, organizational and analytical skills
Ability to assess and analyze data for the purposes of making financing and risk control recommendations to project management and driving prompt resolution of issues

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment.

Light to moderate lifting is required
