Insurance Field Inspector

Your Role/Responsibilities

This role is the "face of our organization" and requires meeting with our policyholder to re-inspect their home. These homes vary in size and design and require diligence and precision in the re-inspection process. Duties include:

• Scheduling appointments and meeting policyholders to perform an interior and exterior inspection.

• Directly contacting and interacting with our policyholders.

• Using insurance policy maintenance and workflow/scanning software including, prior to onsite inspection, investigating /reviewing property information and preparing information.

• Inspecting the property by taking outside measurements and photos of the interior and exterior of the home. Recognizing new additions and/or changes to the property as well as potential problems or hazards on the property - documents these items.

• Requires positive customer service and being knowledgeable about our products.

Job Requirements

• Confident self-starter who works well independently and in a team environment.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and written skills, as well as a high level of maturity.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn and adapt.

• Ability and willingness to follow written procedures and processes.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Must be willing and able to travel throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania.

• Must be able to have a flexible schedule. This may include some evening or weekend hours to meet the policyholder's needs.

• Must possess a valid MD or PA P&C Insurance License or be willing to obtain a license within 6 months.
