Our client, a well-established insurance company in Dadeland , is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support , with experience handling insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property claims, and general liability cases.

Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in case management , from inception through resolution. Draft and prepare legal documents , including pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and motions.

Manage eDiscovery, document production, and case files efficiently. Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information. Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation . Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and court personnel in both English and Spanish.

Maintain case calendars and deadlines to ensure timely filings and compliance. Review and summarize medical records, depositions, and legal documents . Support attorneys during trial preparation, including preparing trial binders and exhibits. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in insurance defense . Bilingual (English & Spanish) required – must be able to communicate effectively in both languages.

Strong understanding of Florida state and federal court procedures . Experience with case management software and legal research tools. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills . Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Paralegal certification or relevant degree preferred.
