The Insurance Coordinator is responsible for the insurance verification for patient and referrals to the Wound Care Center. Responsible for and ensures compliance with third party payer requirements and act as liaison between the Wound Care Center and the insurance company's advocates for the patient to ensure appropriate receipt of benefits and coordination of Wound Care Center services including visits, surgeries, HBO and CTP products. Assists in coverage of the Front Office Staff in Scheduling appointments and Checking patients in and out of the Wound Care Center.

Demonstrates effective communication skills and proven organizational and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical knowledge, Demonstrated knowledge base and experience with third party reimbursement, and computer technology.

Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00
