As a Risk & Control Specialist Sr within PNC's Enterprise Data Management (EDM) organization, you will be based in Rocky Mount, NC, Raleigh, NC, Birmingham, AL, Pittsburgh, PA, or another location within the PNC footprint. This is a hybrid position which provides flexibility to work both in the office and remotely. Certain job responsibilities may require time in the office on a regular basis. The Risk & Control Specialist Sr will be responsible for second line of defense oversight and challenge to include the following core responsibilities: Policy & Procedure Management * Collaborate with EDM leadership on policy framework strategy and execution * Support and partner with data related document owners and ERM during the renewal, creation, and archival cycles * Conduct challenge of data related policies and procedures across PNC noting gaps and observations prior to approval and publication * Represent EDM at key working group meetings, document relevant policy and procedure developments and communicate within EDM to drive awareness and ensure processes and controls remain current Data Risk Control Reporting * Owner of the Data Lifecycle control performance dashboard driving enhancement implementations and related communications * Leverage Data Lifecycle dashboard to analyze, identify and recommend data risk control enhancements Data Risk Issues Management * Leverage Data Lifecycle dashboard to identify issues tied to controls that should be flagged for data risk in Archer * Participate in front line unit matter processes to facilitate data risk issue identification, documentation, and flagging * Support data risk issue monitoring and reporting to identify policy and procedure enhancements or training opportunities Job Description * Partners within risk management to plan and execute the risk management program and corresponding communication strategies. Engages the lines of business to review and challenge compliance with programs. * Assists in the coordination and implementation of the risk management program to meet regulatory expectations. * Under supervision, executes the risk management program within and across the lines of business. May participate in the consultation to execute the program components. * Develops risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Technology Risk, etc.) to proactively identify risk exposures across PNC. * Participates in challenging business self assessment results (including new initiatives, business as usual activities, and risk management program) and reviews applicable independent analyses.
