Develop spreadsheets and programs to analyze and project actuarial data using Microsoft Excel. Be able to modify spreadsheets or programs created by others.
Assist with pricing, sensitivity analysis, benefit estimation, and experience analysis for pension risk transfer business.
Track and develop information regarding bid proposals and bid results.
Extract data from multiple sources and analyze results.
Communicate results effectively with management.
Develop knowledge of insurance, pension and annuity products.
Responsible for maintaining benefit estimation spreadsheets and analysis.
Responsible for quarterly modeling of experience analysis for inforce cases.
Assist with special projects across other actuarial functions.
Provide Ad Hoc reporting needs.
0 4 years of relevant experience in financial, management reporting or actuarial fields.
Insurance industry experience preferred.
Four-year degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
Knowledge of basic accounting and insurance concepts preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and some experience with VBA.
