Insulated Box Department Lead

Job Duties Ensure the Insulated Box department has all necessary W.I.P. (work in process) needed for the current days production. Properly notify production managers of work stoppages due to lack of materials or machine breakdowns.

Responsible for approved preventative maintenance of the departments equipment and ensure end of shift "house cleaning" routine is performed daily and completely at the end of every shift. Proficiently filling out daily production trackers and entering information into our Inventory Management System. Coach and train employees in insulated box department related to standard procedures, safety concerns, continuous quality improvement, and the safe operation of equipment.

Must be a dependable person that is self-motivated Resolves problems and related production difficulties in an efficient and timely manner. Hold all Insulated Box team members accountable for their work and promote high productivity. Minimum Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Leadership experience What It Takes to Succeed Strong Leadership Skills Strong Attention to Detail Strong multi-tasking skills Analytical & Mathematical Skills Strong communication skills.

In the summers there can be high heat, although there are mitigating efforts in place around the warehouse.
