We are looking for a motivated Instrumentation & Electrical Supervisor focused on increasing plant reliability and workforce productivity following world class asset management processes and safe work practices. Reporting to the Superintendent – Maintenance & Reliability , you are responsible for: Monitoring work practices and adherence to safety procedures to ensure safety of employees.

Complying with Rio Tinto and Statutory Safety requirements Managing, supervising and allocating work to a team of trade employees in High and Medium voltage maintenance as well as shop related activities. Allocating technicians for coverage of scheduled and unscheduled breakdowns. Interfacing with planners and fellow Supervisors to assist in planning and scheduling of work.

Providing leadership in team building, planning, and establishing clear measures that keep everyone focused on safety, results, and the customer. Ensuring work is completed in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and soliciting inputs from team members. What you’ll bring A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Electrical Trade Certification is mandatory. 5 years of electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to read electrical schematics Excellent organizational and time management skills. SAP experience or similar ERP system. Use of Microsoft Office and Excel.

Must have or the ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). Preferences: Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Previous exposure to a union environment.
