Responsibilities

The Certified Instrument Technician processes supplies through cleaning, packaging, sterilizing and storing procedures. The Instrument Technician ensures performance is up to standard when established procedures for processing all items are followed consistently.

This position is responsible for all record keeping, PAR levels, employee evaluations, capital requests, maintaining work flow, maintenance of count sheets, and continual education of staff. This position is also responsible for OR attendants evaluations, education and competencies.Is knowledgeable of the philosophy and objectives of St. Mary Medical Center and incorporates these into each workday.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years in a Central Service or Surgical instrument processing area.

  • Certification in Central Sterile Processing through the Certified Board for Sterile Processing *CBSPD or International Association of Healthcare Central Services Materials Management (IAHCSMM)

  • Knowledge and ability to use aseptic technique.

  • Communicates and works effectively with others.

  • Accountable for self and subordinates.

  • CPR Certification.

With our headquarters in San Francisco, we are a nationwide company providing ABA services to families with a current 1099 contracting opportunity for the right BCBA in Long Beach, CA. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serves as the clinical supervisor for all ABA services. The BCBA conducts functional behavioral analysis, generates related behavioral plans, and ensures the effective implementation of all treatment and programming for clients on their caseload. As a primary function, the BCBA is responsible for the training & supervision of direct care staff to ensure effective implementation of the behavioral plan, as well as all relevant policies and procedures. The BCBA is responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and principles as well as demonstrating sound professional judgment at all times. Collaboration with family, caregivers, and all service providers is necessary to ensure continuity of care. Specific Duties: * Provide direct instruction, training, and support to client and family members during regularly scheduled visits. * Demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team * Initiate contact with new referrals and/or referral sources in a timely manner * Effectively manage caseload, prepare and submit all required documentation in a timely manner * Review and evaluate the performance of the direct care staff member to ensure the proper implementation of treatment plan * Ensure that all treatment methodologies are evidence based and reflect the most recent research findings. * Conduct functional behavior assessments & recommend positive behavior supports for children with Autism Spectrum and other related disorders. * Monitor and provide support for staff in use of ABA strategies and procedures. * Collaborate with families in the development of behavior support strategies. * Work closely with the Behavior Specialists in their provision of direct services, and provide the needed resources and guidance to assist clients, parents, and Behavior Specialists in the development and implementation of behavior protocols. Qualifications: * Certification in Behavior analysis required (BCBA Certification) * ABA State Licensure (if required in your State) * Experience in evaluation and treatment of children with serious behavioral problems and spectrum disorder required. * Credentialed with TriCare or Anthem/Blue Cross a plus! 1099 Contractor position with flexible hours Understanding Behavior Long Beach CA
