Job Overview:

As an Instrument Planning Engineer, you will prepare preventive maintenance routines (PMR) for equipment according to OEM manuals and develop various maintenance and preservation procedures as requested. You will provide expertise for troubleshooting malfunctioned equipment when necessary, review all technical documentation other maintenance contractors provide, and validate and approve. Additionally, you will ensure that all technical, economic, environmental, and safety aspects are considered in all your responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic / Communication Engineering.

Experience:

• 10+ years related multinational exposure as an Instrument Maintenance Engineer in oil and gas plants (refineries, LNG, or petrochemical) or Field Engineer during plant erection and commissioning.

• Technical skills and knowledge enabling independent work within areas of responsibility and process operation in upstream oil and gas production with minimal supervision.

• Deep knowledge of SAP CMMS and experience in its utilisation.

• Basic knowledge of plant design.

• Good analytical, coordination, and planning skills.

• Ensure technical, economic, environmental, and safety aspects in all matters within areas of responsibility.

• Proven knowledge of automatic control systems, Safety control systems, HMIs DCS Systems (e.g., Delta V).

• Proven knowledge of electronic devices and industrial electronic instruments.

• Result-driven approach and attitude.

• Good knowledge of electronic circuit design and engineering.

Language:

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Skills:

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong coordination and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong organisational and planning skills.

• Proficient in the use of SAP CMMS.

• Knowledgeable in designing and operating automatic control systems, safety control systems, and industrial electronic instruments.

Additional Information:

• The position is for expatriates.

• The work schedule is offshore with a 28x28 rotation (12 hours a day, 7 days a week).
