To teach in the undergraduate program, research/creative scholarship and dissemination, grant writing, professional/community service, and academic advising.
Didactic, clinical (preventive and restorative), laboratory, and potential for online instruction (60%)

Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene and significant progress toward a masters degree in dental hygiene (all but thesis). MS degree must be conferred by December 2019.
Eligible for Idaho licensure
Minimum 2 years didactic and or clinical teaching experience
Minimum 2 years clinical experience with nonsurgical periodontal therapy
Previous experience with scholarship, research, or publication
American Dental Hygienists Association membership
Education and experience in restorative care and administration of local anesthesia
Master's degree in dental hygiene or a related field
PhD in a related field
Five years academic teaching experience
Experience with alternative practice settings
Experience with original research and dissemination
